Lactation Consultations

Lactation consultations are private 60-90 minute support sessions with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. During this time, most consultants will:

  • Learn about your and your baby's health history

  • Learn how feeding is going and how you want feeding to be going.

  • Help you with latch and positioning if needed.

  • Perform a weighted feed, infant suck exam, and nursing observation.

  • & lastly, work with you to can come up with a realistic care plan.
